The nights are getting colder and it might be tempting to go to bed with some nice warm fluffy socks on. If that’s so then make the most of it and smooth a thick layer of foot cream over your feet before putting on your socks. Sleeping in socks isn’t very sexy but the warmth from the socks will open the skin’s pores and your feet will be much, much softer in the morning.
Particularly, helpful if you suffer from dry cracked heels.
An added bonus is the extra layer of cream is another layer of warmth.
L’Occitane Shea Butter Foot cream is perfect for night time use becuase it smells of relaxing Lavender while most footcreams smell of mint which is stimulating and not ideal for a good night’s sleep. For a more cost effective approach try good old fashioned Vaseline, which will definately make your feet soft and provide extra warmth not unlike a seal and their blubber under the skin. You may have thought seals are blubber monsters because they like doing rolly pollys on the beach but no, they need the warmth just like your feet.
