Eyebrows always seem to be a part of my face that I manage to deny all knowledge of. I’m not sure why but simply put I ignore these tiresome caterpillars.
I can be thankful that I am blessed with fair hair which means neglect is not so severe as perhaps it might be for a dark haired person. However, on my morning inspection of my face I was surprised to see that my caterpillars had grown and if I wasn’t careful would metamorphise into an ugly moth.
I quickly rescued my tweezers from the bottom of my makeup case and began the painful removal of the offending hairs. I now have shaped eyebrows that frame my face, in fact it is quite unbelievable the difference it makes. Eyeshadow sits better on the the eyelid, my eyes look less tired and a lot more perky.
I am now resolved to keep my caterpillars under control and to brush them each morning and apply a brow colour or clear mouse to keep them in shape throughout the day.
I am currently using Tweezerman Brow Mousse to keep the shape and if I want to add some colour (fair hair should have eyebrows a little darker and dark hair the eyebrows should be a little lighter) then Benefit Brow Zings is my first choice.
Brow Zings comes with a lesson and contains a light coloured wax to shape the eyebrows and then a coloured powder to fill in the gaps. The kit also contains a small pair of tweezers for emergency removal on the move.
