Dermabrasion is traditionally a clinical treatment to remove the upper surface of the skin and would normally only be carried out by a professional.
However, this type of treatment has become more main stream and top beauty houses have developed their own version of a dermabrasion system for home use.
Dermabrasion is designed to improve the skin’s texture and tone, it can also help to fade age spots and minimise fine lines but in itself is not an anti ageing treatment.
Avon have introduced their own version of dermabrasion which contains Dermatologist-Grade Polishers and an Advanced Skin Conditioner that helps to keep the skin moisturised and supple while it is being treated with the abrasive cream.
The key point to Avon’s Anew Clinical Advanced Dermabrasion System is the dermabrasive cream can be introduced gradually. The unusual tube regulates the amount of each cream dispensed depending on the level chosen, for example, level 1 being the least amount of abrasive cream dispensed. This gives the skin time to adjust to the treatment. Avon recommend starting with level 1 every 2 - 3 days for 2 weeks before moving to the next level.
So far I have seen a mixed response to this treatment. Many people have seen a drastic improvement in their skin tone and the softness of the skin. However, if you have very sensitive skin then it is probably best to avoid any kind of dermabrasion treatment.
If you have tried this treatment then please share your feelings with our readers.

I have used 1 tube of it and it has improved my skin incredibly. My only issue is that I have no idea what I am supposed to do when the tube is finished. Is this a one time treatment whereby when you finished the tube you no longer need to do dermabrasion? or is this an on-going treatment. If you should use it constantly then what is the point in progressing to level 4 then when you buy a new tube you still get levels 1-3 worth of the white cream in the tube which is a waste of money for “advanced” users. There should be a maintenance programme for those that have already reached level 4.
Hi Don
Thanks for your comments and an interesting point raised. Dermabrasion is not for constant use. It should be used as a treatment and not long term. It does depend on your own skin’s needs and your preference but probably no more than 2 or 3 times a year.
please could you tell me where i could get hold of a tube op triaktiline in alkhobar, saudi arabia
